FAQ:

Q: Which KTM Duke models are included?
The product covers the 790 and 890 Duke wording shown in the title from 2018 onwards. Enter the exact production year and full version, including R or another suffix.

Q: Are these converted cast wheels or true spoked wheels?
They are purpose-built Kineo spoked wheels. The nipples sit outside the airtight tyre chamber, so tubeless tyres are used without an inner tube, tape conversion or rim-sealing band.

Q: What materials are used?
The assembly uses CNC-machined 7000-grade aluminium rims, forged aluminium hubs and stainless steel spokes.

Q: Can I select a wider rear rim for a different tyre?
Only after the exact tyre, Duke version and intended use are reviewed. Rim width changes tyre shape and can affect handling and clearance.

Q: What is included in a front and rear order?
The two wheel selections create the pair price. Tyres, fitting, balancing, brake discs, ABS parts and unrelated motorcycle hardware are not automatically included unless shown in the summary.

Q: Do 790, 890 and R versions use identical hardware?
That should not be assumed. Model years and versions can differ in brakes, suspension and electronics, so the exact bike and any modified parts must be identified.

Q: Can a track-prepared Duke be ordered from this page?
A modified circuit motorcycle can be reviewed before ordering. Provide its tyre, brake, suspension, axle, spacer and drivetrain changes so a standard road specification is not applied automatically.

Q: What are the current production and shipping arrangements?
Use the live build-time estimate on the product page. Worldwide tracked and insured delivery is available, with DDP and supported payment options offered according to destination.

Q: What must be checked during installation?
A qualified technician must confirm tyres, balance, spacers, disc and caliper alignment, ABS clearance, chain and sprocket alignment, valve access and free wheel rotation. Warranty coverage follows the published two-year terms.

KTM 790 890 Duke Kineo Wheels for 2018 onwards

KTM 790 890 Duke Kineo Wheels apply Kineo’s tubeless spoke engineering to a sharp, road-focused naked motorcycle. The Duke depends on direct steering, a well-supported road tyre profile and powerful brakes, so the wheel must be specified as a performance road component rather than an adventure-style accessory. A forged hub and stainless spoke pattern add depth to the exposed chassis, while the airtight Kineo rim retains modern tubeless tyre use for commuting, fast road riding and a properly reviewed circuit setup.

Structural materials, not decorative spokes

The rim bed remains sealed because the spoke nipples are mounted outside the tyre air chamber. No inner tube, tape conversion or rubber rim-sealing strip is required. Kineo uses CNC-machined 7000-grade aluminium rims, forged aluminium hubs and stainless steel spokes as the load-bearing assembly. On the Duke, these parts remain easy to see beside the brakes and frame, making the precision of the construction as important visually as the colour selected for it.

Duke-specific key features

  • True tubeless spoke system for modern road tyres
  • CNC-machined 7000-grade aluminium rims
  • Forged aluminium hubs with stainless steel spokes
  • 17-inch road-wheel configuration prepared for the exact 790 or 890 version
  • Model-year, R-version, brake and ABS review
  • Separate front and rear pricing with custom component finishes
  • Made-to-order production for a standard road or declared modified motorcycle

Protect the tyre profile and steering response

Use the confirmed standard diameter and width for the normal road setup. Rim width changes how the tyre sits on the wheel and can influence steering effort, edge profile and clearance. Those effects are especially noticeable on a responsive Duke. A track tyre or alternative rear width can be considered only after the exact tyre and motorcycle specification are known; the presence of a size in the general Kineo selector does not make it a Duke recommendation.

For a street-ridden Duke, the most useful wheel choice normally keeps the familiar road-tyre dimensions and concentrates the upgrade in the tubeless spoke construction, materials and finish. Riders preparing occasional circuit use should decide the tyre first, then confirm that its approved rim range and the motorcycle’s brake and sensor clearances remain compatible with the proposed Kineo specification.

Front, rear and original motorcycle parts

The Front Wheels and Rear Wheels options build the total from a zero product base. Select both for a complete set or one position for a confirmed replacement. Tyres, tyre fitting, balancing and motorcycle brake parts are separate unless the order summary states otherwise. For supported standard models, the wheels are prepared around original-style discs, ABS equipment, spacers and sprocket hardware. Identify R-model equipment, track-oriented brakes, suspension changes, axles or previous wheel conversions in Notes.

A finish for the Duke’s exposed chassis

The frame, engine, brakes and exhaust already create a dense technical composition. Black rims can keep the tyre silhouette compact; stainless spokes show more of the construction; black spokes make the wheel quieter; and a hub or nipple accent can repeat one existing chassis colour. The finish should remain easy to inspect and coherent from both sides of the motorcycle. Valve choice is practical as well: an angled valve may simplify frequent pressure checks when it clears the brake and spoke pattern.

Order review and professional setup

KineoShop reviews the declared model, tyre plan and modifications before made-to-order production. The current build estimate appears on this page. Worldwide tracked and insured shipping, DDP service and supported payment methods are offered according to destination. The published two-year warranty covers qualifying product faults. A competent technician must fit and balance the tyres, install the correct spacers and brake hardware, verify ABS clearance, align the drivetrain and confirm free wheel rotation before use.

A Kineo set changes the Duke without disguising its purpose. It remains a modern road motorcycle, now with an engineered tubeless spoke wheel whose materials, tyre relationship and finish have been selected as one complete specification.
